ORAL EXERCISE OR TONGUE TWISTERS IN CHINESE

1, 秀才不出门儿,便知天下事。
Literally: Without going outdoors, a scholar knows everything that has happened all over the world.

在中国古代,人们相信,秀才凭借书本里的知识便可知晓发生在世界的事情。
In ancient China, it was believed that a scholar could know what happened in the world by the knowledge in books.

如今,有了互联网,人人都变成了秀才。
Today we have Internet, so everyone is a scholar.
